Antarctica : My Antarctic trip over Christmas 2001 was my turning point between being a "point and shoot" photographer and a serious photographer. Unlike all of my other images on this site, which are scanned slides, I used print film on this trip and, unfortunately, some of the images were lost in the transition to digial by the processor -- these are the best of what I have saved from that process. Also, the quality of these images is far below what has now become my standard, but there are some good images from this spectacular trip and deserve to be included so here they are, finally rescued from their long lost CDs, without comment or caption.
